Doug Geisler was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up in Naples, Florida. He studied Anthropology at Florida State University and graduated in 1997. He now lives in Portland, Oregon where he works as a union organizer and troublemaker.

Doug’s photographs have appeared in Schmap Guides to Portland and Montpellier, France, on Vagabond Opera’s DVD, and in “What Happens Next,” a health show that explains how our bodies react to different stimulants. His work, “The Colorful World,” has recently been shown in Portland cafés such as Marie’s, Proper Eats, and Space Monkey.
