Melissa Brumer
Melissa Brumer lives in southeast Portland, Oregon and is a masters student in book publishing at Portland State University. She co-founded and manages the Sustainable Publishing Initiative group at Ooligan Press, and recently won a Miller Grant to research, write, and publish a book on sustainable publishing practices, titled, "Rethinking Paper and Ink". In her spare time, Melissa enjoys running on trails with her dog, Ender.

Janine Eckhart
A graduate student at Portland State University, Janine Eckhart has made launching the Sustainable Publishing Initiative and OpenBook series the focus of her work at Ooligan Press. When she's not pestering her colleagues about the post-consumer content of their notebook papers, Janine splits her time between culinary experimentation and chasing her chickens out of the flower beds.
