Flickr of Hope

One of the many locations where we find our artwork for this site is the amazing community of photographers and artists on Flickr. Usually the professional-level work is All Rights Reserved, but the artists are accessible, communicative and generous.

If Yahoo's photo-hosting giant, Flickr, is any barometer of our culture (they claim millions of new photos are posted daily) it's obvious that Mr. Barack Obama has inspired an uprising of hope, creativity and artistic prolificacy the world over.

It would be interesting to continue mining for our favs across multiple sites and mediums. We could pay tribute to Obama-inspired YouTube vids, FaceBook walls, Dugg articles, blog posts, as well as literature, fine art, music, and poetry. Searching for Obama-inspired work on Flickr, here are some of our favs from the realm of free usage thanks to Creative Commons Licensing.
