Here's the thing. I write short stories, not novels. I prefer postcards to letters when I'm on the sending end. I delay. I'm undisciplined.

I want to blog. People get book deals from blogs, for crying out loud. (This is one of my current favorites: postcardsfromyomomma.com.)

But: for whatever reason, I find it impossible to write more than 140 characters, apparently, with any regularity.

And often: not even that.

And I'll try, cross my paper and hope to get cut, to write more here, 2.
