Mark Lysgaard is co-founding member of Working Artists Co-op in Portland. He is the author of the comic book novels, Perishing Thoughts on the Perishing Gulf (1992) and How the Gingrinch Stole Christmas (1994) and several books of poetry including Out of Body Out of Mind  1996), Dark Side of Buffoon & The Spectrum of Scandals ( 2007) and his most recent collection, Babbling On In Babylon: Quest for the Eleven Demand-ments! ( 2009). Mark is also a graduate student in the Publishing program at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. When Mark is not in class, you may find him either waxing poetics, sketching his memories, drawing conclusions, or painting scenarios at his art studio.
