Alexander Lumiere and Connor Kerns

Connor Kerns is playwright, director, and artistic director of Quintessence Language and Imagination Theatre. He has written some thirty plays. Recently Connor adapted Pride and Prejudice for the stage, now running at the Mago Hunt Performing Arts Center at the University of Portland. Alexander Lumiere talks to Connor about adapting a novel to the stage, Portland’s theatre scene, and advice for new playwrights.
