Valley Haggard has lived in Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Italy, and New York and about twenty different houses and apartments around Richmond, Virginia. She is the creator of Richmond Young Writers  and is currently the producer of Richmond's James River Writer's monthly Writing Show. She has been the Book Editor for Style Weekly for the last five years and has a BA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College. She currently lives in the house she grew up in with her husband, son, dog and cat.
