What We Expect From Members
The Dojo has been designed and developed to be a special space of respite for individual writers from far and wide. We have a set of goals and aims, and, just like any good community does, we have expectations of how our Dojo members treat and interact with other writers.
While becoming a member of the Dojo is indeed free and through referral only, when you sign up to the Dojo, you’re agreeing to a number of terms as to how we expect you to act. These aren’t anything difficult or treacherous – don’t worry! Our expectations of member behavior have only been put in place to make the community as special, as comfortable, and as unique as possible.
The main thing that we expect from members is that we want them to feel as if they can be sociable in the Dojo environment, and you have to be constantly willingly to help out other writers, encourage, and inspire them. We’re all on our own writing journeys, so it’s important that you’re always respectful and understanding of the process of another writer. Be a friendly face that your fellow Dojo members know they can turn to in times of when they need a little boost.
